- Bareilly Airport (BEK) — A civil enclave at the air force station, with limited domestic service.
- Pantnagar Airport (PGH) — Serves the terai and the Nainital approach.
- Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi (DEL) — About 250 km from Moradabad; the practical arrival point for most visitors.
By rail
- Bareilly Junction (BE) — On the Delhi–Lucknow main line, and the region's principal railhead.
- Moradabad Junction (MB) — A major divisional junction; almost everything between Delhi and the east stops here.
- Rampur Junction (RMU)
- Pilibhit Junction (PBE) — On the converted broad-gauge line towards Tanakpur and the terai.

Getting around
Trains between the district towns, and shared vehicles beyond them. The terai is best reached from Pilibhit or Khatima and needs a private vehicle; forest roads are closed in the monsoon, and night driving near the reserve edge is discouraged for good reason.
