| Rann Utsav | Roughly November to February, at Dhordo | A tent city and festival programme on the edge of the Great Rann, run seasonally with state backing. It transformed the region's economy and its craft market within about fifteen years, and it concentrates almost all visitor traffic into a four-month window and a single approach road. |
| Navratri and the Mata no Madh padyatra | Ashvin (September–October) | Nine nights of garba in every village, and a mass walk to the Ashapura temple at Madh from Bhuj and further — tens of thousands on foot along a road lined with volunteer-run water and food stations. |
| Ashadhi Bij | The second day of Ashadh (June–July) | The Kutchi new year, timed to the expected arrival of the monsoon rather than to a harvest. Whether it rains on or around the day is read as a forecast for the year, which in a pastoral economy is not a superstition so much as a scheduling problem. |
| The urs at Haji Pir | Bhadarva (August–September) | A three-day gathering at the Haji Pir dargah in north-western Kutch, attended by Hindu and Muslim pilgrims alike, with a fair and communal kitchens. One of several shrines in the region that has never sorted its visitors by faith. |
| Dhrang fair | Bhadarva (August–September) | The fair at the shrine of Mekan Dada, the eighteenth-century Kutchi saint remembered for searching the Rann for lost travellers. The fair keeps a working langar and is attended by pastoral families from across the Banni. |
| Anjar's Jesal–Toral observances | Through the year, with peaks at the annual fair | Gatherings and bhajan singing at the joint samadhis at Anjar, where a legend of banditry and repentance is treated as devotional history. |
