How to reach
By air
- Jaipur International Airport (JAI) — At Sanganer, about 12 km from the walled city, with Gulf and regional international service.
- Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi (DEL) — About 270 km from Jaipur and often the practical entry for Shekhawati, which is closer to Delhi than to any Rajasthani airport.
By rail
- Jaipur Junction (JP) — The region's principal station, on the Delhi–Ahmedabad and Delhi–Jodhpur routes.
- Ringas Junction (RGS) — The railhead for Khatushyamji, 17 km from the shrine, and the point where most walking pilgrims start.
- Sikar Junction (SIKR) — For the southern Shekhawati towns and the Jeen Mata and Harshnath approach.
- Jhunjhunu (JJKR) — For Nawalgarh, Mandawa and Dundlod, all within 30 km.
- Churu Junction (CUR) — For Ramgarh, Salasar and the northern edge where the region runs into the desert.
By road

Getting around
Autos, e-rickshaws, app cabs and a single metro line in Jaipur. Shekhawati is best done as a road loop — Jaipur to Sikar, Nawalgarh, Mandawa, Fatehpur, Ramgarh and back is roughly 400 km — and the towns themselves have to be walked, because the frescoes are on street frontages and a car passes them at the wrong speed.
