Getting around

Shared jeeps and buses radiating from Jagdalpur, timed around the haat days rather than around office hours — if you want to reach a market village, travel on its market morning, because that is when the vehicles run. Distances look short and take longer than the map suggests. Forest routes are best done in daylight.
