कैसे पहुँचें

हवाई मार्ग

  • Pasighat Airport (IXT) — The region's own airfield, with regional-connectivity flights to Guwahati and Dibrugarh. Schedules are thin and weather-dependent.
  • Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar (Hollongi) (HGI) — Opened in 2022; the state capital's airport, and the usual entry point for the Subansiri basin.
  • Dibrugarh Airport, Assam (DIB) — The practical gateway — best connected of the lot, about 150 km from Pasighat via the Bogibeel bridge.
  • Advanced landing grounds at Aalo, Mechuka, Tuting and Ziro — Small hill airstrips with intermittent subsidised services. Useful when they run, and not to be planned around.

रेल मार्ग

  • Murkongselek — The nearest railhead to Pasighat, about 30 km away across the Assam line.
  • Silapathar — For Likabali and Malinithan at the western end of the belt.
  • Dibrugarh (DBRG) — The major railhead, with through trains from Delhi, Kolkata and Guwahati.
  • Naharlagun (NHLN) — The railhead for Itanagar and the road to Ziro and Daporijo.

स्थानीय आवाजाही

Shared Sumo and Bolero taxis are the real public transport, leaving early in the morning and filling before they go; Arunachal state buses run the main roads. Non-residents need an Inner Line Permit, obtainable online or from state offices, and it is checked. Distances are short on the map and long in practice — plan on 25–30 km an hour on hill roads, less in the rains.
