हवाई मार्ग
- Dibrugarh Airport (Mohanbari), Assam (DIB) — The practical gateway for the entire belt — roughly 100 to 150 km from Miao, Jairampur and the Tirap escarpment, and the best-connected airport within reach.
- Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar (Hollongi) (HGI) — The state capital's airport, opened in 2022, but a long drive from these districts.
- Advanced landing ground, Vijaynagar — Intermittent subsidised services into the settlement beyond Namdapha. When they are not running, the alternative is a multi-day walk.
रेल मार्ग
- Ledo — The railhead at which the Stilwell Road began in 1943. Still a working station, and the natural starting point for anyone following the road.
- Margherita — The Singpho and coalfield town on the Assam side, adjacent to Ledo.
- Tinsukia (NTSK) — The junction with through trains from Delhi, Kolkata and Guwahati, and the road head for Khonsa via Deomali.
- Dibrugarh (DBRG) — The other major railhead, with the widest choice of long-distance services.

Shared Sumo and Bolero taxis run the main roads and leave early; state buses cover the Assam connections. Non-residents need an Inner Line Permit for Tirap, Changlang and Longding, and Namdapha needs separate permission from the park authority at Miao. Some stretches near the boundary are subject to additional access controls that change without notice — check locally rather than relying on a published account, including this one.
