स्थानीय आवाजाही
Shared Sumo and Bolero taxis running on fixed routes and leaving when full are the real public transport; fixed-route buses are thin and slow. Travel by daylight — landslides close hill roads without warning between May and September, and repairs are measured in days. Non-residents need an Inner Line Permit for Nagaland, obtainable online or at Dimapur and Kohima, and a separate permit for the hill districts of Manipur; foreign nationals must register on arrival.
