कैसे पहुँचें
हवाई मार्ग
- Tezpur (Salonibari) Airport (TEZ) — The nearest airfield to the road up. Limited scheduled service; most visitors fly to Guwahati instead and drive from there.
- Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati (GAU) — The practical gateway. Guwahati to Bomdila is a long day by road, and Bomdila to Tawang another.
- Tawang helipad — Helicopter services to Tawang operate from the Assam side subject to weather, and are cancelled often enough that no itinerary should depend on them.
रेल मार्ग
- Guwahati (GHY) — The main railhead for the whole approach.
- Rangapara North — The nearest railhead to Bhalukpong and the start of the hill road.
सड़क मार्ग

स्थानीय आवाजाही
Shared Sumo and Bolero vehicles between the towns, leaving early in the morning and filling before they go. Guwahati to Tawang is roughly 450 km and takes two days with an overnight at Bomdila or Dirang. An Inner Line Permit is required for Indian visitors and a Protected Area Permit for foreign nationals; both should be arranged before starting the drive. Landslip closes sections of the road in the monsoon without warning.
