- Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Airport (IXU) — The region's only airport with regular scheduled service; about 10 km from the city, and the gateway for Ellora and Ajanta.
- Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport, Nanded (NDC) — Limited and intermittent scheduled service; check before relying on it.
रेल मार्ग
- Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (AWB) — On the Manmad–Secunderabad line. Manmad Junction, outside the region, is the connection for most trains from the north and west.
- Nanded (NED) — A South Central Railway station, not a Central Railway one — the Marathwada lines were built by the Nizam's state railway and the zone boundaries still follow the old princely one.
- Parbhani Junction (PBN) — The junction for Purna, Latur and the Nanded line.
- Jalna (J) — For the Kesar mango belt and the Ajanta approach from the south.

State transport buses reach every taluka and are the realistic way to move between districts. Autos and shared six-seaters in the towns. Ellora is a half-day from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar; Ajanta is a full day from there and a half-day from Jalgaon, so plan the two caves from different bases if time is short.
