स्थानीय आवाजाही
Shared taxis and buses run from fixed stands at Haldwani and Kathgodam, largely through the long-established Kumaon Motor Owners Union network, and leave when full. Distances are short and journeys are slow — Kathgodam to Munsiyari is about 275 km and a full day. The inner valleys beyond Dharchula need permits, and roads there close for landslides for days at a time between July and September.
