हवाई मार्ग

  • Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur (RPR) — The region's only significant airport, about 15 km from the city, with wide domestic connections.
  • Bilaspur Airport (PAB) — Limited regional service; useful for the northern plain when it is running.
  • Jharsuguda Airport (JRG) — An alternative for the far eastern edge around Raigarh.

रेल मार्ग

  • Raipur Junction (R) — The main railhead for the central plain, Sirpur, Rajim and Barnawapara.
  • Bilaspur Junction (BSP) — Headquarters of the South East Central Railway and one of the busiest freight junctions in the country; the railhead for Ratanpur, Tala, Malhar and Achanakmar.
  • Durg (DURG) — For the western plain and Rajnandgaon.
  • Champa (CPH) — The kosa silk town, on the Howrah–Mumbai main line.
  • Raigarh (RIG) — For the eastern edge, Ektaal and the Chakradhar Samaroh.
  • Ambikapur (ABKP) — The railhead for the Sarguja fringe and Ramgarh hill.

जल मार्ग

स्थानीय आवाजाही

Buses and shared vehicles connect every district town, and the plain is flat enough that distances are honest — Raipur to Sirpur about 80 km, to Rajim about 45 km, to Bilaspur about 120 km, to Ambikapur about 340 km. Bhoramdeo, Tala and Malhar realistically need a hired car for the last stretch.
