हवाई मार्ग

  • Kangra Airport, Gaggal (DHM) — About 120 km from Chamba by road, and the nearest airport to the Ravi side.
  • Pathankot (IXP) — The other approach to Chamba, about 120 km, with limited scheduled service.
  • Jammu Airport (IXJ) — The practical airport for Bhaderwah, Doda and Kishtwar on the Chenab side.

रेल मार्ग

  • Pathankot Junction (PTK) — The railhead for Chamba, Dalhousie and Khajjiar; buses and taxis run onward over the Banikhet road.
  • Chakki Bank (CHKB) — Adjacent to Pathankot and the start of the narrow-gauge Kangra Valley line, which is worth taking for itself if time allows.
  • Udhampur (UHP) — The nearest railhead for Bhaderwah, Doda and Kishtwar, with a long road journey beyond it.
  • Jammu Tawi (JAT) — The main junction for the whole Chenab valley approach.

जल मार्ग

स्थानीय आवाजाही

HRTC buses and shared taxis on the Chamba side, and shared sumos on the Chenab side. Pangi is served by a small number of buses in the open season and by nothing at all outside it. Assume that any high road may be closed and that the closure will not be announced in advance; the Sach Pass and the Killar–Kishtwar road in particular should be attempted only with local advice on the day.
