साल भर
| मौसम | महीने | सामान्य | कैसा रहता है |
|---|---|---|---|
| Winter | November–February | 6–25 °C | Clear and cold. Annakut and the Kartik parikrama season fill the towns, and the Bharatpur wetland is at its fullest for migratory birds. |
| Holi season | Late February–March | 15–32 °C | The forty-day Holi cycle from Basant Panchami to Rang Panchami. Barsana, Nandgaon and Dauji each have their own day, and the region is at its busiest. |
| Summer | April–June | 28–46 °C | Very hot and dry. Thandai, chhachh and the deity's own summer routine — sandal paste, light garments, midday rest — organise the day. |
| Monsoon | July–September | 26–36 °C | Jhoola season. Swings are hung for the deities at Vrindavan, malhar and rasiya are sung, and Janmashtami falls at its height. |
घूमने का सबसे अच्छा समयOctober to March. For Holi, arrive several days ahead — Barsana's Lathmar day falls before the national date and the town fills days in advance. Janmashtami in August fills Mathura to capacity.
